Does Vokani work without internet?
Yes. Reading, voices and your library all work offline. You only need a connection once, to download the natural voices.
Are my pages uploaded anywhere?
No. Text is recognized and read on your phone. The app has no account and collects no data.
Which languages can it read?
At launch, Vokani reads printed text in languages written with the Latin alphabet. Natural voices cover English and about 30 other languages; for the rest, Vokani uses your phone's own voice.
Which phones does it run on?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later, and Android phones and tablets with Android 9 or later.
Is it really free to try?
